Who? My name is Christopher Hanusa. I am a mathematician at Queens College of the City University of New York.
What? The Mathematical Zorro was my alter ego at summer math camp at the Ross Mathematics Program at Ohio State University in 1995. Dr. Ross would start every day by writing a $\mathbb{Z}$ in the upper left hand corner of the blackboard. Since I was always one of the first to class, I decided to write the $\mathbb{Z}$ myself—and as I became more confident, I replaced the integers by other sets. I fancied myself The Mathematical Zorro.
Why? I'd like to share my thoughts on being a mathematician and a math educator.
When? I only expect to post once a month or so. See post #1.
